Tuesday Morning Sketches 152

Welcome to another edition of Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This week we have a fabulous sketch by Melissa, as well as a great sponsor called The Paper Garden.  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used the Paper Garden digi set called Tea Time.  All of the DP is from the MME-Follow Your Heart paper pack called Be Happy.  I tried a new technique I saw online the other day for the flower.  I created the flower from used dryer sheets.  First I cut them out using the Die-namics Pretty Posies die.  Then I added color to them using a sponge and an ink pad.  I added copper Stickles to the ends and let it dry.  They flowers are then stacked and secured with a brad.  It really has a soft, glittery look to it.

Have a great week!  Be sure to check out the goodies posted by the rest of the DT girls and be sure to play along.

Gorgeous card Dawn. I love the glitter on the edges of the flower and what a beautiful teacup you created.

Wow! I saw that dryer sheet tutorial and immediately dismissed it as something I wouldn't ever want to try, but MAN, is your flower ever pretty! Love the glittery edges, too.
