Ismaki Challenge 13

I tried the Ismaki Challenge for the first time today. It was a fun sketch and gave me a chance to play with Bubblebella for the first time too. The DP is from Basic Grey (Brown) and CTMH (Blue). I used an old pair of deckled edge scissors to cut the white border. The paper flowers are inked with Heavenly Blue ink and have chocolate brads in the center. The water is colored with Heavenly Blue maker and then I added Stickles and blue water bubble stickers.

A great card day!

Today was a great day for card making at my house. My friend, Tammi, brought her daughters, Lyndsay, Ashlyn & Kaity, over to make cards. We had a blast! The girls did not want to stop to eat and wanted to spend the night to keep working. Even my boys, Jaymes and Dylan, and Kaity got to color some images when they were done playing the Wii.

This is a card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge. I liked the sketch to I gave it a try with the Jump for Joy stamp by Stamping Bella. I colored them with Prismacolor pencils and Sansodor.

This one I did for the Bellaholics Friday Color Challenge. The DP is from Basic Grey ans the twill ribbon and buttons are from CTMH. As you can tell, I spent the day helping more than creating, but it is fun to have someone to share the addiction with.

Birthday Cards for Girls

My son, Jaymes, has two birthday parties to go to this week for two different girls in his class. Jenna is having a princess party so we thought this image would be great. It is Ella and LooLoo by Stamping Bella. The DP is retired B&T paper from CTMH. I used some paper flowers from CTMH and colored her crown with Jelly Roll Pens.

The second card was for Zoe's Easter Birthday party. The kids were coloring eggs and having an egg hunt too. I knew Chi Chi the Egg Fairy was perfect. The DP is Basic Grey Two Scoops and there are Stickles on her wings. This fairy image was thanks to my Bella Sistah, Chris. I am so going to have to get some of these fairy stamps.

Chatty Cathy

I got the coolest package yesterday from my Bella Sistah Chris. It was full of the cutest stuff. She made the most beautiful candle with Chi Chi the Egg Fairy from Stamping Bella. I have looked at the fairy stamps and have not ordered any. (I finally ordered Patricia Birthdaycake last night.) This is Chatty Cathy and she was one of the images that Chris sent me along with a couple of other fairy stamps. I can't wait to create with them. She also sent me Stickles, Mouse House note pads, a paper pack from Club Scrap, a mini lunch tin, candy for me and the boys, several mini sets of acrylic stamps, and the cutest earings made with Goodluckabella. I am so spoiled!

Alexis' Bad Hair Day

I finally decided to play with one of my new Tiddly Inks stamps from Stamping Bella. The DP is from Basic Grey and I paper pieced the robe. I made this for a sketch challenge on SCS.

And the Winner is...

Monica! Congratulations! Bill picked your card as the winner. What sold him on your card was the 3D image. Great job! I left a comment on your blog with instructions for collecting your prize. Congrats!

Birthday/Anniversary Cards

My Bella Sistah's anniversary is next week so I made this card for her. (If you are reading this Chris pretend to be surprised.) The stamp is Stargazing by Stamping Bella. I did the background with Buttercup and Moonstruck CS from CTMH.

This card is for my friend Tammi's birthday next week. We spend our Wednesday nights at Panara Bread Co. while our kids are in Awana and Youth Group so this card is the two of us on any given Wednesday night. I used Javabellas from Stamping Bella and Basic Grey Two Scoops DP. I stitched around the edges with Bubblegum Sassy Strands and secured the corners with flower brads. I totally love this paper and wish I could find more of it somewhere around here.

A Week of Bellas

These are the bella cards I have made over the last week. I have made some other stuff too, but have not scanned them yet. Enjoy!
Above: Ohsoprettybella made with Caprice paper from CTMH. The sentiment from Sweet n Sassy Stamps says "A Girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do."

Above: I must say Imeldabella is one of my favorites. The Celia Rose stamp "Row of Heary Shoes" from Stamp Bella goes so well with her. The inside says, "It's a shoe thing." The DP is Silhouette by CTMH.

This card was done for the BSC19 on SCS. The DP is Cosmo Cricket. The stamps are Grumpabella and "It's not easy being beautiful" by Rosie's Roadshow.

Cupcakes

Cupcakes are a favorite in our house, especially with two little boys. I knew I had to get this stamp when it was released on Stamping Bella. The DP is Basic Grey. I covered the chocolate icing with stickles. Yummalicious!

Sugar Nellie Cards

These two Nellies came in the club set. I thought they looked so cute together with their purses. The DP is old SEI paper and the sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

This is Hamish fixing his Tractor. I did this one for a sketch on my Sugarnelliestampers Yahoo group. If you want to join the group, click the link to the left.

The boy with the guitar was done for my nephew's birthday next month. Thanks for looking!
