Grow a Sheltering Tree

Well we are halfway through the drama at our church and only have one weekend to go. There are no rehearsals this week except for the fun rehearsal on Thursday. It is the rehearsal where everyone jokes around and has fun before the last weekend of the play.

Since today was truly an off day, I was inspired to go downstairs and join in on this weeks Wednesday Stamp Club from My Favorite Things. This week's challenge was for Earth Day. I used two tree sets from MFT. The small tree is from the Grow Love set and the large tree, squirrel, and owls are from the new Shelter Tree set. The buttons are from from MFT's Summer Button collection. The cloud paper is from My Little Shoebox and the paper on the trees is from Close to My Heart.

I am not sure how much time I will have the rest of the week to do any crafting, but hopefully I will be able to so something soon.

Miscellaneous Things

Well it is that time of year again. This is the time of year I traditionally have very little stamping time. The weather is getting nicer, my boys have begun baseball, and I am once again involved in the drama at church. This year we are doing the story of Ruth. Below are a couple of cards that I did last week before rehearsals started.

The first one uses "You are unique" by Stamping Bella. I used a mix of scraps in my box for the base and then embellished with ribbon, lace, and flowers.

This next one was last week's Wednesday Stamp Club card, which called for Patchwork. I used up some more scraps of MFT's Summer paper, as well as the "You've Got Mail" Pure Innocence set.

Not sure how much I will get done over this next week with rehearsal almost every night and all day on Saturday. I hope I get some time to play and you will be the first to know.

Bellarific Friday 4/2/10

Here is my card for this week's Bellarific Friday. This week's challenge was anniversary/ love. I used Kissie Face from Stamping Bella. The design paper is all from Basic Grey's Kioski collection.

Have a great Easter holiday weekend! I will be out enjoying the warm sunshine.
