Tuesday Morning Sketches 131

Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of Tuesday Morning Sketches. Guess what else? TMS now is on Facebook. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and share your artwork with us there too.

Today's sketch is by Theresa and is sponsored by Doodle Pantry. Be sure to play along for some free stamps from Doodle Pantry.

For my card, I used Doodle Pantry's stamp called Bird on a Wire. I paired it with My Mind's Eye paper called Quite Contrary. The image is matted on a Die-namics Small Decorative Doily and I used the new Die-namics Small Monarch Border die on the bottom of the card. The flower is made with the Die-namics Rolled Mum die and then layered on the Die-namics Leafy Flourish. I thought it could also use something in the upper corner so I added some Bella Baubles.

That's it for me today! Have a great day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 130

It's Toooosday! You know what that means?! Tuesday Morning Sketches! Today's sketch was designed by Jessica and our sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy.

For my card I went with a new stamp from Sparkle Creations that is very dear to my heart...Hockey Oliver. My boys are both playing street hockey right now and hockey is my favorite sport. I am in hockey heaven! When is saw the circle on the side of the sketch, my first thought was hockey puck. I die-cut two circles in slightly different shades of black and then offset them with the darker one behind. It is hard to tell in the photo, but it does look like a hockey puck in person. Now for the colors, I had to go with the orange and black of the Philadelphia Flyers. They are my team and my hubby bought me club box seats for my birthday. The DP is from My Mind's Eye. The banner is from the MFT Die-namic and stamp set called All Star. The Flyers letters are metal charms that I had hiding in my stash.

Be sure to stop in and enjoy what the rest of the TMS girls have to offer and leave them some love. Keep warm!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 129

It's Tuesday! Tuesday Morning Sketches has another great sketch for you to play with. Our sponsor this week is Cupcake Creations.

I took some creative liberty with my card. Instead of circles, I used hearts. I layered different heart shapes from Spellbinders and Die-namics dies. The DP is all from My Mind's Eye. For my image I layered the boy from the Pure Innocence set called I Love You This Big.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has in store for this sketch. See you again soon!

January SFYTT 2012

Last year I tried to play along with all of the Sketch 4 Your to Try sketches to win that fabby prize they were giving away, but somehow I missed one and then gave up. This year I am going to try again!

For my card, I used the new Pure Innocence set called Paper Doll and paired her with the Die-namics Paper Doll Border. I used a bunch of different patterns from the My Mind's Eye paper pack called Ooo La La. I love all the bright colors in that paper pack.

The flower is die-cut from the Fringed Flowers Die-namics and layered on the leaf swirls die. Isn't it great to have time to stamp? It may be a while before I get to do it again. My boys have hockey/soccer every day this weekend. Plus I still have to do stupid laundry.

Have a great weekend!

My Favorite Challenges

It seems like ages since I have pulled out my stamps from Stamping Bella. I am so happy to see they are back on SCS. So I decided to follow the sketch for Bellariffic Friday. I used the set called Wrapped in Love and tons of Die-namics dies. The DP is all from My Mind's Eye.

For my next card I did today's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #54. For this card, I used Wyatt the Conductor. When I see this image it reminds me of my oldest son and his love for trains. It is sad he is too big to care about that anymore. Now it's video games and music and sports. I used My Mind's Eye paper again and the Die-namics Wavy Pennants die for the flags.

Check back again soon. I am feeling creative now that the holidays are over. Must be all the quiet winter nights. (Yeah right like I get those.) It is the kids being in school and me not having to do Christmas shopping during the day.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 128

Every wonder if you would forget your head if it wasn't attached? That is me evidently since I totally forgot to schedule this post. Anyway...

Welcome to another sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps. They were even kind enough to supply the design team with some free goodies, plus they release a new freebie every Friday. Marie was wonderful enough to supply us with another great sketch this week too.

Since my boys both play baseball, Deacon Baseball was the obvious choice. I layered him on a Spellbinders label die. The background is some scraps I had left from birthday invitations last year. The baseball trophy is a Die-namics die from MFT.
Well that's it for me today. Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's blogs for all the awesomeness. Happy Tuesday...what's left of it anyway.

**Edited to add-- I guess I missed something. Turns out this weeks theme was supposed to be vintage inspired. Duh! Guess I missed that one!**

Tuesday Morning Sketches 127

Tuesday means the holidays are over and I am back to work. It went too fast! But Tuesday also means sketch time from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week our sponsor is Sparkle Creations. Sparkle is a very generous sponsor and sent us all free stamps to play with this week and she could not have picked a more perfect image for me. Today I am playing with Cheerleader Emily. (I was a cheerleader in high school.) Kathy supplied a fun sketch for us to play with too. Take a look!

I pulled out some of my new MME paper called Ooo La La. The image is colored with Copics. I added some teal rhinestones to the tilted panel. I love the colors of this panel. I just wish our uniforms in high school were as fun. How come school colors aren't pink and orange?

Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs and leave them some love.
