Ismaki Challenge 21

Here is my card for the Ismaki Challenge blog. I used the sketch to make the thank you cards for the boys' birthday party. We had a great party last weekend. We celebrated Jaymes' 6th birthday (May 24) and Dylan's 4th birthday (June 1). We did a cookout theme and had 37 people here for the BBQ. The kids had a blast!

Lots of Challenge Cards

This is uses the Domestic Goddess set from Hanna Stamps. I made it for the SC177 and HSC18 on SCS in the Hanna Stamps forum. The Hanna Stamps challenge for this card was to use chipboard. I used the small chipboard for the bubbles on the side of the card. They are colored with Heavenly Blue marker and then Diamond Stickles.

This one is Wendy Papillon from Stamping Bella. I combined the BSC30 and the BCC29 on the Stamping Bella forum on Splitcoast. The colors for the color challenge were Watermelon, Topiary, Kiwi, Baby Pink, and Sunflower. Her wings are covered with Diamond Stickles.

Finally I did the MFT32 challenge also on Splitcoast. I used the Hit the Beach stamp set from My Favorite Things. This card makes me long for summer and days at the beach.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I finally got a chance to do a Papertake Weekly Challenge again. It seems like a while since I did one. This is Katharina's Sketch #3.

I fell in love with this stamp as soon as I saw it on the Stamping Bella site. I bugged Em several times about its release because my DH was going to get my stamps for Mother's Day. I ended up placing my order without it because it was still not available when I placed my Mother's Day order. Being the angel that Em is though, she included this in my package as a special treat! Thanks Em! She is on her way to you. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

BSC28 and 29

This is Teachabella from Stamping Bella. This is a thank you card for one of Jaymes' teachers. I can't believe school is almost over. Yeah for summer! Now if only the weather will cooperate.

This is Stellarina. I just love the new line of stamps from Stamping Bella. They are so cute. This is just what I figure my fairy godmother would look like. A little quirky and a lot sweet!

Ismaki Challenge 18/BCC27

I was feeling a bit lazy this past week while getting over a cold. I finally got around to doing the sketch for the Ismaki Challenge 18 and decided to use my new Fabby stamp from Stamping Bella. I also used the colors for the Bella Color Challenge 27 on SCS. The scan of this card came out really light for some reason. The colors are Baby Pink, Pansy Purple and Orchid Bouquet from CTMH. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!

Cute Card Thursday

I decided to give the Cute Card Thursday challenge a try this week. The theme for the week is "In The Garden." I pulled out an image I got in an image exchange. It is from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. The DP is from Chatterbox and I added some blue baubles to the bottom corner. I really like the High Hopes Rubber Stamps, but do not actually own any...yet. The inside of the card is says, "Wishing you sunshine and sunflowers!"
