Tuesday Morning Sketches #143

It is the last Tuesday of the month of April already and it has been a very busy month. My family is involved in a drama production at our church this coming two weekends so we will be out late every night this week at rehearsals. That being the case, this post was scheduled weeks ago. I apologize in advance if I am MIA for a bit.

Our sketch this week is really fun and I look forward to seeing what you all do with it. Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio. Here is the sketch:
For my first card, I used the Sassy Studio stamp called Little Honey's Tinkerbell. Isn't she cute!? I paired her with some MME-Miss Caroline paper and then added a butterfly to the top in place of the bow. Of course, any fairy need pixie dust, so I added lots of glitter to her wings and dress.

I also used the sketch to make another baby card this week. It is a baby epidemic around here. It seems I know a lot of pregnant women right now. Thank goodness it isn't me! I used the Pure Innocence set called Girl and Baby. All of the DP is from Lily Bee's Head over Heels paper pack. I accented the corner with three Swarovski crystals.

Gotta run! Check out the DT girl's blogs for more goodies.

April Sketch for You to Try-Part 2

I am popping back in today to show you another card made with this month's Sketch For You To Try. The sponsor this month is There She Goes.

For my card, I used another great There She Goes set called Loads of Fun. I must admit after I got my first TSG set, I had to go back for more. The design paper is My Mind's Eye On the Bright Side-One. The flower is cut from felt and accented with some bling swirls. I tried to cut the flower out of denim, but could not get it to cut. Oh well.

That's it for me this month. It was great to be a guest designer for Sketch For You To Try. Thanks Jen and Susan!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 142

It's Tuesday! It's Tuesday! You know what that means?! Tuesday Morning Sketches! Today we have another new sketch, as well as a great new sponsor. Our sponsor this week is Raisin Boat. They are a great company where you can purchase or rent stamp sets. How cool is that?!

Here is the sketch:

Raisin Boat was kind enough to send us some great stamps to work with this week. My card features the Raisin Boat set called Cool Treats. We are crazy for ice cream here during the summer. I colored the ice cream cone in the colors of my favorite flavor soft serve...orange cream! The ice cream paper is from Echo Park and the rest is from my scrap pile. The flowers were all die-cut from Die-namics dies and I used a bling flower from my stash.

Have a great day! Be sure to check in with the rest of the DT to see more awesomeness!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #141

Happy good morning everyone. It is time for this weeks sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights. Stop by the TMS blog for all the details. This is a challenge week and our bonus challenge is "Think Spring." Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used two Pure Innocence sets call Bee Mine and Lady Bug. When I think spring, I think flowers and bees. All of the background paper is from My Mind's Eye. It is from the Follow Your Heart paper pack called Be Amazing.

Have a great week! Be sure to check out the rest of the TMS DT blogs to see their gorgeous creation.

SFYTT for April

Surprise! I am this month's guest designer for Sketch For You To Try! Pretty cool, huh? I know! I was in shock when Susan sent me a message. My goal this year is
to complete all of the SFYTT challenges.

Our sponsor this month is There She Goes. I am pretty new to There She Goes stamps, but once I got my set to play with for the challenge, I had to get more. Three more sets are on the way! You will see them soon!

Now, here is the sketch.

For my card, I used the TSG set called Domestic Goddess. Love, love love this set! It says all the things I think about house cleaning. The design paper is all from Lily Bee. The flower is die-cut from the same paper. The inside says "Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful domestic goddess!

Be sure to check out all the yummy DT goodness HERE. The most important thing though is to play along!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 66

As much as I would have liked to, there has been not enough time to finish many MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketches in the past few weeks, but this week I finally got one done. I used the Pure Innocence set called "Cause for Celebration." The DP is all from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found.

Thanks for stopping by. Check back Saturday for a fun announcement!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #140

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketches. Our sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry. Here is our fun sketch:

I loved this sketch. When I saw the stamps sent to us from Doodle Pantry, I knew I needed the Baby Birdies right away. I have another baby shower coming up in a couple of weeks and thought this adorable image would be perfect. I used My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline paper in Fiddlesticks. My card is accented with lots of bling and paper flowers cut from several Die-namics dies. There was just enough scraps left over to make a tag for the present too.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to visit each of the DT girl's blogs to see their take on the sketch.
