Birthday Card and More

I made this card today for my niece's birthday. It is the sketch for next week's Bellarific Friday. I got a bit of an early start on it. I used the Sweet Stack from DCWV and Bee Day Huggabug.

The card below is almost stamp free. I used My Favorite Things' Spring Paper Pack for the base and cut the hearts with my heart Nestabilities. This also used this week's sketch from Card Positioning Systems.

For this card I pulled out Grow Love from My Favorite Things. This is another stamp that has been sitting around waiting for some love. I followed Mercy's Tuesday sketch challenge 58.

Well, that's it for today. Good-night!

More Valentines

Well I am back again with three more cards I did last night and this morning. It seems I am still on a bit of a Valentine kick, but oh well. I am doing my best to use stamps that I have purchased over the last few months and then never used. This first card is made with Cuppie Love Scenes from Taylored Expressions.

This next one is for the Bella Twisted Challenge in the Stamping Bella forum at Splitcoast Stampers. I started out doing one of the sketch challenges I missed and it kind of veered off course. The twister challenge was black and white with a pop of color. I realized that I do not have any paper that is just black and white so I embossed white cardstock and mounted it on black textured cardstock. The stamp is Gratty-tude from Stamping Bella.

This last one is Farmer Riley and Sophie from Riley and Company. I used my new Basic Grey Origins paper because it was just perfect for this stamp. I have had this stamp since the fall and this is the first time I inked it up. I just love Riley and Sophie!

Well I am off to the basement for more laundry and a little stamp therapy.

Three Days in a Row!

Can you believe it? Three days in a row! I was browsing cards in the Splitcoast galleries last night and came across the Bella Sketch Challenge 85. So I decided to give it a try. It must be time to get the Valentine decorations out because valentines are all I seem want to do right now. This card uses Stamping Bella's Wrapped in Love stamp. She is just so cute!

I also decided to do something for the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge for this week. The challenge was to alter something. I got this frame last week and did not know what I wanted to do with it. I have had a stack of MFT's Pure Innocence stamps sitting on my desk just begging to be inked up and then it hit me. I just love snowmen! (Still have mine up from Christmas.) So I set to work with all the winter Pure Innocence stamps and this is the result.

I printed out some more sketches to try, so maybe I can achieve four days in a row down in my stamp room. Unfortunately right now I have to go do laundry...

Two Days in a Row

So I decided to try to get to the Sketch Challenge 265 on Splitcoast this week. I used my new Cafe Riley from Riley and Company. I got this stamp before Christmas and am finally getting around to inking it up. I also got a chance to play with my new cupcake border punch from Martha Stewart. I just love her punches! The tag at the bottom was make with my Making Memories tag maker that I have had for years and barely use. I dug it out today and am going to have to remember to use it more in the future. The background paper is DCWV's Sweet Stack. Love it!

The weather here is about to turn cold again, so I will have to bundle up to go down to my stamp room in the basement after today. It was a bit cold today, but by Saturday the highs will be back in the 30's. Burr! Luckily I have a small heater I can blow on myself to keep me warm. I am so looking forward to Spring!

Two In One Day!

I followed the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from last week to make this baby card. It uses the MFT stamp set Snuggle Bunnies. The two little bunnies were perfect a couple we know that just had twins. This challenge was a three part challenge. The first part was to use Snuggle Bunnies. The second challenge was to texturize, so I used the swirl embossing plate and my Cuttlebug to texturize the background paper I used. The third part of the challenge was to follow Kim's card layout.

Well that's it for today. Hopefully I can make it two days in a row and be back tomorrow.

I'm Baaack!

It has been months since I had the mojo to actually make much of anything. Didn't even make Christmas cards this year for the first time in forever, but I have made five cards in the last few weeks and decided to finally post them here.

The first one uses a free digi from Verve Stamps called Regal Heart. I used the sketch 264 from Splitcoast.

This one uses a new Lily and Billy digi image from Pink Cat Studio. My boys had fun watching me color this one. I used the TESC98 sketch for this one.

This one uses Monday's Mojo123 sketch. It called for either a circle or a square so I made the circle card and attached it to a regular size card. The stamp I used was Cupcake Diva from Stamping Bella.

This is the card I made for my MIL's birthday. This is what started to get me back in the groove again. I used MFT's Gifty Girl set.

Finally here is the baby card I made for a friend who just had a baby girl. I used Close To My Heart's Family Ties sets.

Hopefully it will not take me another four months to post again. Luckily I have another baby card to make so I will post that when it is done.

Thanks for stopping by.
