Tuesday Morning Sketches 139

Good morning! It is time for another great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! Our sponsor this week is My Creative Classroom. Here is the sketch:

My card is all about something I love, but don't currently have...PUPPIES! I am dying to get a new dog, but the hubby is not ready yet. Hopefully soon! I am definitely suffering from dog envy though. I made this card for a friend who adopted a new dog, Nora. The main image is from Pure Innocence. For the three panels, I used various dog images from three different Pure Innocence: Boy and the Dog sets. The dog collar at the bottom was made with the MFT Die-namics Pet Charms dies. I stamped the dog's name on the charm. The inside says, "Congratulations on you new puppy."

Hop on over the the TMS blog and see all the goodies that the girls have to share and, of course, play along with us!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 138

Happy Tuesday everyone! We are full into spring around here lately. The flowers are blooming and the weather is warming up. I can't wait until Good Friday when I get to spend the day at the beach.

We have another wonderful sketch this week from Kathy and a great sponsor in Stamping Boutique. Be sure of play along with us this week.

I chose to make a baby shower card this week since I have two baby shower's coming up in the next month. Since the first shower I am going to could be either a boy or girl, I went with a more neutral color scheme. I used some of the new My Mind's Eye Sweet Caroline papers and added lots of pearls and a big flower.

That's it for me today! Have a great weeks!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #137

It's Tuesday! You know what that means...Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week is a bonus challenge week, so along with the sketch there is a special second theme. This is also a judged challenge with a winner and a top five. Our theme for this week is Monochromatic. Here is the sketch:

Monochromatic is a bit of a stretch for me since I love color! I went with some My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart Be Happy paper layered on CTMH Juniper cardstock. The sentiment is from the MFT set called Pearls of Wisdom. I used the same DP is create with flowers using several Die-namics dies.

Have a great week! Be sure to stop by the other DT girls blogs and leave them some love and don't forget to play along!

SFYTT for March

My niece's birthday is on the 15th so I made this card for her. I used this month's Sketch For You to Try. The stamp set is Pure Innocence Blowing Bubbles. The DP is My Mind's Eye Ooo La La. The flower is a mix of Die-namics dies.

Have a great day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 136

Happy Tuesday! Our sponsor for this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches is Guylou. They sent the DT some cute images, but, unfortunately my card was already done and I did not have time to do another one. Here is our sketch for this week:

For my card, I used the MFT Die-namics set called Ring Me. I just loved this vintage telephone. The DP is all from Lily Bee. I made a rolled Royal Rose out of red felt as the circle element on my card.

Be sure to check out what the other girls have been up to and, of course, play along with us!

MFT Guest DT Challenge March 2012

This month's MFT Guest Designer Challenge was "Hit the Books." For my entry, I made a paper bag book using a ton of Pure Innocence stamps and Die-namics dies, plus a bit of bling. I made the book for the purpose of putting pictures in from a girls weekend I am leaving for on Friday. We are staying in a hotel on the beach in Cape May, NJ.

There are a ton of pictures below. All of the DP is from the My Mind's Eye paper pack called Lost & Found. Thanks for stopping by!
