Tuesday Morning Sketches 135

Happy Tuesday! Welcome to another edition of Tuesday Morning Sketches! Our sponsor today is Digi Doodle Shop. It is a fun sketch and it gave me a chance to use some of those little scraps lying around my stamping table.

For my card, I used the MFT Pure Innocence stamp set called "Give Hope." My card is for a special friend who beat cancer twice. She beat breast cancer over ten years ago and beat ovarian cancer this past year. The ribbon the girl is holding is half pink (breast cancer), half teal (ovarian cancer). We celebrated her success with a surprise party this past Sunday. The inside of the card says, "Cancer cannot steal eternal life, kill a friendship, corrode faith, shatter hope, cripple love."

The design paper is from My Mind's Eye, as well as all of the scraps used for the layers. Like I said above this sketch was great for using my little scraps. I thought this celebration called for a little bling too! The flowers are cut from felt with Die-namics dies and accented with more bling.

Have a great week! Be sure to check in on the other TMS girls to see more awesomeness!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 134

Happy happy Tuesday everyone! We have another great sponsor this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches and another great sketch to you too. Our sponsor this week is Pixie Dust Studio. Here is the sketch:

Pretty cool huh?! For my card, I made a sweet 16 card. My "niece" will be 16 this week. I used the MFT stamp and Die-namics set called Sweet & Sassy and paired it with MME Mockingbird paper. The "16" and the flowers are Die-namics dies as well.

Here is a close up of the front.

Be sure to check in on the DT girls for more goodies. Have a great day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 133

Happy Valentine's Day! This week Tuesday Morning Sketches has DRS Designs sharing the love to one lucky winner. This week is also a bonus challenge week. Along with the sketch, your challenge is 2-1-4: 2 ribbons, 1 embellishment, and 4 layers. Jessica has a fun sketch to play with too.

My card features the Pure Innocence set called Color My World. As soon as I saw the Eiffel Tower Die-namics, I knew what set I wanted to use with it. The only thing I forgot to do was add her beret. Might have to do that later. All of the DP is My Mind's Eye Love Me. Hopefully using the same ribbon twice counts as two ribbons.

Be sure to share the love with rest of the TMS girls!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 132

Hello! Today is Tuesday Morning Sketches day! This week's sketch was designed by Theresa and as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to use. Our sponsor this week is Paper Pretties. Here's the sketch:
For my card, I used the MFT Pure Innocence set called "What's Poppin'?" Now didn't the side element just cry for tickets? I used the Die-namics Ticket die and punched them from My Mind's Eye Kraft Fun-Day paper. Her dress is paper pieced from the same paper. In place of the stars, I used the Die-namics Alphabet letters in P-O-P.

Be sure to stop by the TMS blog to see what the girls have created and more importantly...play along!

February Sketch 4 You to Try

Well I am two for two on the SFYTT sketches this year. My card turned out quite a bit different from the sketch since I turned it into a scene. I used lots of Die-namics dies, along with the Pure Innocence set called You're So Tweet. The DP is My Mind'e Eye.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back tomorrow for a new Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

Getting Caught Up with MFT

I am worked at getting caught up with my MFT sketches for this year. It has been so busy around here lately that I have not done the last two sketches. Since we only had one soccer game today and nothing else scheduled, I blew off the laundry again and decided to stamp.

My first card is sketch #55. The image is stamped on the Die-namics Express Postage die and I used the Die-namics Fringed Flower for the corner along with some bling. All of he DP is from My Mind's Eye Love Me paper pack.

My next card is sketch #56. For this one I used My Mind's Eye So Sophie papers. The birdhouse is a Die-namics die and the leaves and branches are Martha Stewart punches. The sentiment is from the Contempo Birdcage set.

That's all for now. Have a great weekend!

MFT Guest DT Challenge Febuary 2012

This month's MFT Guest Designer challenge was called "Stamp Your Heart Out." I didn't necessarily go with a lot of stamping, but I did use a lot of hearts. For my project, I decided to decorate a kraft carton that has been lying around since last Valentine's Day. I think I used every heart Die-namic die too. For the inside of the heart, I cut felt roses using the Die-namics Rolled Heart dies then added lots of pearls. The border on the bottom is cut from the Die-namics Monarch Border die. All of the DP is from My Mind's Eye. All of the letters were cut with the Die-namics By the Letters. The two stamp sets used are Pure Innocence All My Heart and I Love You This Big.

Here is a close-up of the front.

Well that's it. It was fun to make too! Of course, my son saw it and asked if there were Dunkin' Donuts munchkins inside. Boys!
