Elzybells Cards

I got my stamps from Elzybells today and just had to play with them. I colored them with my Prismacolor Pencils. I made two of the ducky cards, but will have to remake one of them because Dylan ate half of it. I think my boy is part puppy. The sentiment inside the princess card is "Celebrate your inner princess." I love that!

My Challenge Card

Here is my card for Bill's Sketch Challenge. I used Imeldabella from Stamping Bella and DP by CTMH called More to Adore. I got the ribbon at AC Moore and the three strands on the side are Hollyhock Sassy Strands by CTMH. Have fun playing with the sketch and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

My DH's first card design

I needed a baby card to send to one of the Bella sistahs who just had a baby boy. My DH picked out the paper and CS while I did the coloring and assembling. He is getting into the Bellas too now. I fear I may have to share my toys soon.

Ribbon Cards

I was asked to design two cards to try-out for a ribbon company's design team, so these are what I came up with. These are cards three and four, as cards one and two didn't quite measure up. The first card uses Key Lime and Buttercup CS and white grosgrain ribbon. I used a button as the center of the flower and then used Waxy Flax to string beads from the holes of the button. The ribbon along the bottom says Spring. The second card is woven with hot pink and green gingham ribbon and white satin ribbon. The image in the center is Kinibella by Stamping Bella. The CS is Ocean by CTMH. I did a lot of research to see how to use ribbon on a card and it seemed like everybody used the same techniques, so I decided to step out of the box and make the ribbon more of a focus. It was kind of fun to let my imagination run wild. I will post the two rejected cards later. Even though they did not make the cut to send in, they really are cute cards.

Two Bella Cards

I made this card for a friend who is expecting a baby. The stamp is Expectafellabella from Stamping Bella. The DP is Caprice from CTMH. I also posted this to the Bella Sketch Challenge on SCS.

This card is made with Musicabella. The DP is Sonata from CTMH. I used beads as an accent again. It give me something to do with the left over beads from jewelry I have made.

Pirate Edwin

This is the last Valentine card I have to make. My boys love pirates and knights. I used miscellaneous CS and Pirate Edwin from Magnolia Stamps. The swirls were made with my Valentine's Cuttlebug.

Magnolia and Sugar Nellie Cards

I finally got my orders of Magnolia and Sugar Nellie stamps. They are just so adorable. I used a mix of CS for the cards and some random DP I had lying around. I can't wait to play with more of them.

Snowbunnybella

Here is the Snowbunnybella card I did yesterday. You can't tell from the picture, but all the fur has glitter on it. The paper is a mix of Sweet Harmony and Life Delights by CTMH.

Teddybella

I know several people who are pregnant right now so I thought I would play with this image. The stamp is Teddybella by Stamping Bella and the paper is Sweet Harmony by CTMH. I made another card with this paper today too, but will have to wait for the glitter to dry before I can post a picture so check back tomorrow.

My son was supposed to go to a birthday party today so I made this card. However, the party was canceled. He was bummed because they were supposed to go see The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. The stamp set are a mix of CTMH and Stampin' Up.

A Busy Day

This has been a busy day online for me. I joined a new Yahoo group for Magnolia stamps and started my own Yahoo group for Sugar Nellie stamps. I am looking forward to playing with both of them when the arrive from the UK and the Netherlands. I am discovering so many different stamping companies lately and it is fun to see something new. I am such a stampaddict!
