Tuesday Morning Sketches 148

Hello!  It's time for another great Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge.  Today's sponsor is Meljen Designs.  Here is the sketch:

I used an absolutely adorable image from Meljen called Beach Umbrella.  I love the beach and when I saw this image, I knew it must be mine.  I just love the adorable little crab.  All of the DP is from Lily Bee's paper pack called Happily Lost.  Doesn't it make you want to be happily lost at the beach?  The sentiment is from an MFT Pure Innocence set.

Be sure of check out the TMS Blog for all the details and to play along!

MFT Guest DT Challenge for June

The MFT Guest Designer Challenge is one of my favorites each month.  I am so happy I got a chance to play along this month, especially since it is a sketch.  I love sketches!

For my card, I used the Claire Keay set called "You Amuse Me."  I paper pieced the kitty with MME-Miss Caroline paper.  For the DP, I used more MME-Miss Caroline paper.  There are quite a few Die-namics dies on this card like Pretty Posies, Leafy Flourish, and Mini Rolled Rose.  I also added the Scallop Ribbon Border Die-namic behind the ribbon.  I almost forgot, the sentiment is stamped onto the File Tab Die-namic.  Can you tell I LOVE Die-namics?!

Be sure to stop on over to the MFT Forum on Splitcoast and check out all of the awesome creations, and of course, play along for your chance to be the next MFT Guest Designer.

SFYTT-May

I wasn't quite sure I was going to have time to get this done in time this month, but I made it happen.  Yay, I am 5 for 5 so far this year with 7 more to go.  Here is my card:

For my card I used the MFT-A la Mode set called I've got UR back.  Love this!  It is paired with MME Sweet Caroline paper called Dilly Dally.  I added some gold satin ribbon and a felt flower that I had die-cut a while ago and it was sitting in my scrap box.  The center of the flower is a gold pearl.

That's all for now!  Have a great Friday!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 147

Welcome to another beautiful Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge.  Our sponsor today is Clear Dollar Stamps.  They were even kind enough to offer the DT free digis to play with for this sketch.  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used the Clear Dollar set called Walk by Faith.  I paired it with some really cool paper from Heidi Swapp called Sugar Chic.  I added another circle to sketch to fit my sentiment.  The daisies are all made with Die-namics dies.

That's it for today, be sure to check out the rest of the DT and play along too!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 146

Hello!  Welcome to another week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge.  Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs.  Today's sketch is a fun, simple sketch with so many possibilities.  Have fun!

For my card, I used the DRS image called Glow Worm.  I made another baby card.  All of the design paper is from My Mind's Eye-Fine & Dandy.  Once I was done with the card, it looked a bit too plain for me, so I added a banner at the top cut from several Die-namics dies.

Be sure to stop by the DT member's blogs to see more goodies and to leave some love.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 145

Happy Tuesday!  Well the play is finally over and I can get my craft time back.  It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work.  Lots of 12 hour rehearsal and performance days, but worth it in the end.  In a way it is sad too.  We will miss hanging out with all of our friends every night.  Here are some pictures of us in costume:

My son, Dylan.

My husband and me.

This week is the judged challenge week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  We have another great sketch and the twist this week is Diecuts.  Our sponsor this week is StampingScrapping.com.  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used the Stamping Bella Uptown Girl set called Perry on her Laptop.  I just loved this image as soon as I saw it.  This is so me!  Except, my laptop is an Apple not a Pear.  I paired my image with some fun paper from Heidi Swap called Sugar Chic.  This card was made for my "niece's" Sweet 16 so, of course, it needed lots of bling.

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT for more goodies!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 69

I am working my way back in time to complete all of the MFT sketches I missed.  Here is last weeks sketch.  I used Fred Bear Catches Some Zzz's.  The DP is My Little Shoebox-Sky's the Limit.  In place of the circle element, I used clouds and sun Die-namics dies.

This is probably my last chance to stamp for a couple of days.  We have rehearsal tonight and then performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I'll be back next week with a new Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge card.

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 70

For the first time in a while, I got the chance to play in the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge.  As I was working on next weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch post, I decided to do this one too.  It was a fun sketch and I got to use a stamp from the new release.

For my card, I used Doodlebug Designs-Sugar & Spice paper pack and paired it with the new Pure Innocence set called Giraffe Girl.  I needed a baby card and this is such a cute image.  The paper even has giraffes in it too.  The sentiment is from another PI set.

I am looking forward to having time to play with my missed MFT sketches soon.

I'm late, I'm late...to Tuesday Morning Sketches 144

Sorry!  I am really late to get my post done for this week's TMS sketch.  I have been involved in a play this past week and this coming weekend.  We had rehearsals every night last week until late and then four performances over the weekend.  We have four more performances to go this weekend, but luckily only one rehearsal this week.  Now onto the sketch...

Our sponsor this week is Ribbon Carousel.  They have gorgeous ribbon, accessories, and ribbon storage options.  So gorgeous!  Our sketch this week is by Marie and I totally love it!
For my card, I used the Pure Innocence set called Dress Up Diva.  Love her!  I paired it with Doodlebug Designs paper called Sugar and Spice.  The large flower at the bottom was cut using a Die-namics die.  I added Liquid Pearls to her pearls of course.

That's it for me today.  Be sure to check out the rest of the DT girls for some more yummy creations.
