New Bellas and an Elzybells

I used the BSC48 to make the Halobella card today. She is just so sweet!

This card uses Merrybella. I have really been in a Christmas card frame of mind lately.

This little fella is from Elzybells. It came out in the spring. I have only ever colored this little chick yellow for spring until I saw someone make a card with it for Thanksgiving. Duh! Why didn't I think of that. He doesn't have to be just a little Easter duck. I did the shading around him with Prismacolor pencils and Sansodor.

Ismaki 33

I have been fascinated with the new stamps from Elzybells lately and decided to pull out the ones I bought in the Spring. This flower girl stamp is so sweet. The sketch for this card came from the Ismaki Challenge blog.

Papertake 31

I was browsing blogs today in search of new sketches and this one from Papertake Weekly caught my eye. I decided to use the apple basket from my new Fall Hanna set. The paisley paper is actually brown, but does not show up too well in the scan.

A Triple Card Day

It was a dismal misty day here today so I spent some time this afternoon playing with my stamps. I got three different challenge cards done and on challenge 3D item that I will take pictures of tomorrow.

The card above uses the MFT stamp set "Merry Christmas." I am sure this will be me come the middle of December. The sentiment days "Hope you have a stress-free holiday."

The card below uses the MFT stamp set "Baby It's Cold Outside." I am so in love with snowmen that this set was a must. If I could get away with it, I would leave snowmen up all year long. They make me so happy!

This last card uses the Stamping Bella image Polly Packages. The colors are Cranberry, Ocean, Key Lime, and Blush. Another great color challenge Sparkle. Can you believe I picked a holiday image for that color combo?

Hopefully I will get a good picture of my 3D project and be able to post it tomorrow. Have a great Friday night!

Kiss the Cook Recipe Album

I won this stamp set from Hanna Stamps during the September Release party and it was also the stamp set chosen as the new release challenge on the Hanna Stamps Forum of Splitcoast. The challenge was to create a recipe card using the Kiss the Cook stamp set. I have had this 9x9 album from CTMH for a while and have not used it, so when I saw this challenge the album came to my mind. I created the pages using CTMH cardstock and Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper. The cover is accented with ribbon and Sassy Strands. I liberally added cookie stickers from Jolee to the pages although they are a little hard to see in the pictures. The winner of the challenge will be announced during the release party on October. Wish me luck!

In honor of Cammie's blog candy, I made this card using Enjoy Life by CTMH. I am sending it to my friend and his family who lost their Mom/Grandma on Saturday.

I won an award a long time ago...

I have been very lax in keeping up with my blog and with reading other blogs. The blogs I keep up with most tend to be associated with stamp companies I like. My former Bella Sistah nominated me for the Brilliant Weblog award, so thanks bunches, Jacqueline (Tresabella), you're the best!!

Rosemary

The above card was for the MFTSC46 on Splitcoast Stampers. I used the new CTMH color Juniper for the DP and CS with accents in Cocoa. The flower pot is colored in with Pearlescent Watercolors and has a nice shimmer IRL.

Christmas in September

Don't know why, but today I just felt like doing Christmas cards. Plus I made wish lists up of the stuff my boys want for Christmas to give to the grandparents. Both of the images in these cards are from Stamping Bella. I used a new product called Flowersoft for the snow on the house card.

Playing Catch-up

I have been playing with all of the new stamps I have gotten in the last few weeks. I love all of the fall images despite the fact that it is is still hot here. I am wishing for cool weather. I decorated my house for fall this week too.

Ballet Sophie

Hanna Stamps released a new Sophie G stamp last week. This stamp is a collaborative effort with Eclectic Papery to raise money for a little girl named Kelly who is fighting cancer. The proceeds from this stamp will go to Kelly's foundation.

Busy Little Me

Last week I took the challenge to complete all of the Bella Color Challenges on SCS in the Stamping Bella Forum.

This was quite an undertaking since I was
quite a bit behind. I managed to catch up with a marathon day of stamping. For some reason, since my son went back to school I have my mojo back. These are the cards I did to catch up.
