Raisin Boat was kind enough to provide the DT with some great sets.  My set is called For the Birds.  I paired it with some My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday papers in Everyday Fun.  The circle at the side and the flower are both Die-namics dies.

The Stamping Boutique

Here are the sketches:

Since back to school is just around the corner, I used the Stamping Boutiques stamp called Schoolhouse.  The DP is also called Schoolhouse and it is from October Afternoon.  I paired them with the third sketch from this week.  The image panel and the accent panel are both cut with Nestabilities dies and the stars are cut with Die-namics dies.  I added a little bit of bling too.

My card uses the Sparkle Creations set called Backpack Oliver.  Back to school time is just around the corner.  I have all of the boys school supplies already and can't wait to settle back into a routine.  I am so glad that I will get to spend a week at the beach before we have to go back to school.  Can't wait!  Now back to the card.  All of the DP is from the My Mind's Eye's Kraft Fun Day paper pack called Happy Days.  The arrow, circle, and border are all cut with Die-namics dies.  Backpack Oliver is colored with Copics and put on with pop dots.

SFYTT-August

Happy Friday!  I am getting ready to go out with my sister for pedicures, but figured I better pop in a post this before I forgot.  I needed a birthday card for the weekend, so I used this month's Sketch for You to Try.  Here is the sketch:

I got a bunch of Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella a couple of months ago and finally decided to put one to use.  I just love this girl on her Vespa.  The stamp is called Venna on a Vespa.  All of the DP is from MME's Miss Caroline paper pack called Fiddlesticks.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 158

Happy Tuesday!  I must admit I was not sure I would have time to get this done.  After spending a long  weekend in Wisconsin and heading to Boston this past weekend, plus work and sightseeing with my sister and her friend, Kim, there was not much time left to stamp.  Plus I just had to watch the Olympics, right?  But, alas I made time and got a really cute card done...if I say so myself.

Digi Doodle Shop sent the DT our choice of stamps to work with.  Cool, huh?  This week is also a challenge week.  Our bonus challenge is BIRTHDAYS.  Here is our sketch:

For my card, I used the Digi Doodle Shop stamp set called Sea Life.  What says birthday like blowing out the candles, especially when you have as many as I do!  The background paper is all from Cosmo Cricket's Salt Air paper pack.  I added some buttons in place of the flowers and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
