Christmas in September

Don't know why, but today I just felt like doing Christmas cards. Plus I made wish lists up of the stuff my boys want for Christmas to give to the grandparents. Both of the images in these cards are from Stamping Bella. I used a new product called Flowersoft for the snow on the house card.

Playing Catch-up

I have been playing with all of the new stamps I have gotten in the last few weeks. I love all of the fall images despite the fact that it is is still hot here. I am wishing for cool weather. I decorated my house for fall this week too.

Ballet Sophie

Hanna Stamps released a new Sophie G stamp last week. This stamp is a collaborative effort with Eclectic Papery to raise money for a little girl named Kelly who is fighting cancer. The proceeds from this stamp will go to Kelly's foundation.

Busy Little Me

Last week I took the challenge to complete all of the Bella Color Challenges on SCS in the Stamping Bella Forum.

This was quite an undertaking since I was
quite a bit behind. I managed to catch up with a marathon day of stamping. For some reason, since my son went back to school I have my mojo back. These are the cards I did to catch up.

The Mojo Has Returned

Well there has been a bit of a creative drought here. Things have been busy with Bible Schools and vacation. My sister and family arrived from Wisconsin too. These are the first cards I have made in nearly a month.

The first card is the September Stamp of the Month for CTMH. It is called Treasure Life. It is only available through the month of September so if you like it check my website during September. All of the ink and paper is CTMH too.

This next card is Lazy Days Hanna. I made this for a sketch challenge on Splitcoast. The DP is Basic Grey and the CS is CTMH. The sentiment stamp is from the new September Stamp of the Month, Treasure Life, mentioned above.

The last card is for a Bella sketch and color challenge also on Splitcoast. I used Funky Clothesline. The colors are Autumn Terracotta, Heavenly Blue, Kiwi (soon to be retired), and Black. All of the paper is CTMH, although the DP is retired.

Thanks for looking. Hopefully it will not take me another month to post again.

Monday, Monday

Well I got some time to play this afternoon. This is a busy week around here as we started Bible School today. We had to get up early and then when I stopped to get some chai tea at WaWa, the machine was broken. This card is to commemorate the tea I never got this morning. It is the sketch from MFTSC39.

This card is for BSC37. I used the new Soccermomabella from Stamping Bella.

Below is one of Stamping Bella's new stamps called Rose Bouquet. I made it using the the sketch from TECC24.

The next one is made with the Circus Tent from Stamping Bella. The inside of the card says "Sometimes life is a circus." I made this with a sketch (SC184) from SCS.

The last one is Car Riley from Hanna Stamps. It is made with the sketch from Mojo46. I used the colors from the CC174. The colors are Buttercup, Chocolate, and Taffy.

Hopefully I will get some time in tomorrow to try another sketch I came across on Papertake Weekly from last week. Plus the new color challenge on SCS will be posted in the morning. Tomorrow I will plan on making my own tea before I leave!

Got a little playtime tonight...

I got a chance to play with my stamps tonight after the boys went to bed. The card is for MFTSC38. I used the Take a Break stamp from My Favorite Things. It is accented with beads and colored with Copics and Pearlescent Watercolors.

This card is done with Bookworm Hanna. I did it with the sketch from TECC23.

Below is Booboobella. I got this image in an exchange and decided to use imaged I had never used before to do the next two cards. This is done with the sketch from BSC36 on Splitcoast.

The last card is done with Billboardabella, another image I have never used before. This uses the sketch from Mojo45 and the colors from BCC35.

Hopefully I will get some time to play again tomorrow night.
