Tuesday Morning Sketches 157

Happy Tuesday morning everyone!  It is time for another great Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.  This week our sponsor is Clear Dollar Stamps.  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used the MFT al la Mode set called You Anchor Me.  I just loved this cute nautical image and you know how I love the beach!  The DP is all from Cosmo Cricket and is called Salt Air.  How perfect is that?

Be sure to stop by the TMS blog and see all of the goodies!  Also, come play along too!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 81

Today I am on my way out to see my sister in Wisconsin to help her pack up and move home to New Jersey.  My card today fits my sister perfectly since he is the family shutterbug.

For my card today, I used the Pure Innocence Little Shutterbug set paired with the Behind the Camera Die-namics die.  I then added the Sun Die-namics as the "flash."  The arrow is part of a new Die-namics set that will be released on August 7th.  It was available for a limited time as part of the July VIP Kit.  All of the DP except the flash are from MME-World Traveler.  I loved the baggage tag DP since it had ORD (Chicago) where I am flying into and PHL where I am flying from.

Have a great day!  See you when I get back!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 156

Happy Tuesday!  We have another great sketch for you today.  Our sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry.  They were kind enough to offer some adorable images for the DT to play with too.  Here is our sketch:

I chose to work with the Doodle Pantry image and DP called Pansy Turtle.  For the first time, I chose to use the image that was already colored.  Once I looked at the sketch, I knew I would never be able to see to color something so small, so I used the color image that came with the set, as well as the great pansy digital paper.  The yellow paper is from Lily Bee's Buttercup paper pack.  The sentiment is from the MFT PI set called Poppin' By.

Have a great Tuesday!  Be sure to stop by and leave the DT girls some love.

SFYTT July

It has been my mission this year to complete all of the Sketch For You To Try sketches for the year to be eligible for the grand prize in December.  I am 7 for 7 so far this year.  Yea!  Here is my card for this month:

The sponsor this month is My Favorite Things, so I just had to pull out my new Claire Keay stamp called Monkey Business.  I paired it with the new vine Die-namics die.  This card is pretty simple, but boys don't tend to like a lot of bling.

That's it for me today!  See you tomorrow for another Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 155

Welcome to another challenge from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Thanks to everyone who played last week for our judged challenge.  Our sponsor this week is Cupcake Creations.  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I used the MFT Pure Innocence set called Freckles.  All of the DP is from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist paper pack called Life of the Party.  I cut the sentiment with a Nestabilities die and added some MME bling.  Her dress is paper-pieced with another pattern from the same paper pack.

Have a great day!  Be sure to stop by and check out all the great samples the TMS DT has today too!

My Deleted MFT Guest DT Challenge-August Entry

This month's Guest Designer Challenge from My Favorite Things was a sketch, so I went a little crazy and did the sketch 4 times.  However, my idea was against the rules so I deleted my entry.

Summer is my favorite time of the year, so I decided to use all of my summer stamps together.  All of the design paper is from Echo Park's Summer Days pack.  Perfect name, huh?  I think I dulled my scissors with all of this paper piecing and cutting out, but I love how it turned out.

Here is a view of the upper left.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 154

Happy Tuesday!  Today at Tuesday Morning Sketches, we have another great sketch from Melissa.  Our sponsor this week is Sweet & Sassy Stamps.  Since this is the second week of the month, it is a challenge week.  Our bonus challenge for this week is "Winged Things."  Here is the sketch:

For my card, I chose butterflies as my winged thing.  I just love this stamp and the paper too.  I have been hoarding my last sheet, but decided to give it up.  The main image is from MFT's Pure Innocence line called Butterfly Kisses.  The DP is from MME-Miss Caroline called Dolled Up.  The image is paper pieced with scraps from various companies.  The butterflies were cut with Die-namics dies.

That's it for me today.  Be sure to check out the rest of the DT members blogs for more goodies.  Keep cool!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 79

And the streak continues.  Here is my card for this week's sketch done on the day it was released.  I decided to pull out an old MFT Who's That Girl? set called Girls Day In.  My neighbor took some of my cards to a friend of hers who has a boutique and she called and asked me for more.  The boutique caters to women, so I am trying to do some more grown up designs to take over to her.

For this card, I used MME Six By Six paper in Paris & Co.  There is a ton of paper piecing on this card, but I love how it turned out.  The flower, vine, and banners are Die-namics dies.

Hope your holiday was great!  Have a great day!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 78

Happy 4th of July!  Since my quest this year is to complete all of the MFT sketches, I made time to complete last week's sketch just in time.  The new sketch will be posted today, so hopefully I will get to play with it since I am off for the holiday.  Here is my card for sketch 78:

I used the Lady Liberty stamp set from Pure Innocence.  It took me forever to find this sentiment.  I knew I had it somewhere and I think I looked at every MFT stamp set I have to find it.  It was with a Who's That Girl set from two Christmases ago, but I finally found it.  The sentiment inside says, "I thank my lucky stars for you."  The DP is from MME-Miss Caroline called Dilly Dally.  I accented it with the Die-namics Star Border.

Enjoy your holiday!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 153

Happy Tuesday!  Today it is time for another great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Our sponsor is Meljen Designs.  Here is the sketch.

I loved this sketch, but I hate circle cards, so...I added the circle on top of a square card.  This cute image was a freebie from Meljen Designs.  I thought it was perfect for the day before July 4th.  The circles were cut with Nestabilities.  The stars are cut with Die-namics dies.

That's all for me today!  Have a great July 4th!

**edited to add**  I totally forgot to mention that Tuesday Morning Sketches is pleased to announce four new DT Members.  Please welcome Bonnie,  Debbie, Jessi, and Laura.  Stop by their blogs and leave them some love!
